科学者の倫理（修士）
LAC.M521
科学者の倫理（修士）」ではまず，科学技術における不正行為とその防
止について概観し、次にそれぞれの専門家がさまざまな領域で培われ
てきた倫理上の諸概念について，具体的な事例を上げて概説する。（例
えば、環境政策と住民参加、ヘルシンキ宣言、ベル研シェーン事件の背
景、21世紀「情報透過型社会」における倫理等。）また、倫理とは違う次
元で、科学技術に携わる者が知っておかなければならない守るべき法
や安全保障輸出管理に係わるデュアルユースについても話題として取
り上げる。
本講義では特定の分野に限定せず、科学者技術者が遭遇する可能性
のある研究倫理問題についてひろく学ぶ。

Master's Technical Writing　【C 】（English）

Master's Technical Writing, taught by active science and technology
researchers, trains graduate students to form the ability of expressing
themselves effectively in writing on topics closely related to their
specialty.
In this lecture, iIn addition to providing information synthetized from
relevant textbooks, the instructors offer students practical advice from
their own experience as scientific paper authors, peer-reviewers
and/or journal editors. Topics covered include the main steps needed
to publish a scientific manuscript or technical report, writing each
section of a research paper, and matters related to optimal transmittal
of intended messages through effective vocabulary, sentences and
paragraphs.
The lecture aims to teach students what to write, where to write and
how to write in the context of describing matters related to their
specialized area in case of formal and informal documents (scientific
papers, technical reports, cover letters, e-mails).

のロールモデルに「共感」する。紹介する。出来ればキャリアトークの後
半に講師を交えたディスカッションの時間を確保し、受動的な座学経験
ではなく、自己キャリアイメージを履修者自らが「エデュケート」する講義
を目指す。
通常のコースで提供されるキャリア開発の講義ではカバー出来ない分
野に挑戦するための、必要な知識とマインドを身につけることを目的とす

の就職活動を事例としながら扱います。終身雇用を前提とした日本的雇
用システムは大きな変化の時期を迎えています。「働き方」が従来に比
べて圧倒的に多様化する中で、働く個人はキャリアの決定権を組織に
委ねることはできなくなり、自律的にキャリアをデザインし切り拓いていく
能力が生涯にわたって求められるようになりました。

Master's Critical Thinking（English）
LAC.M448
Critical Thinking trains students to form and enhance their ability of
being reflective and reasonable in forming opinions and taking
decisions, as well as when taking positions or evaluating positions
taken by others. The lecture will emphasize the need of a high
standard for the precision of language used for expressing opinions and
evaluating the realities of our world. The advantages of attempting to
shape a large proportion of one's thinking into the form of an argument,
i.e., requiring that all claims are defended with appropriate reasons and
evidence, will be outlined. The course also contains a discussion of the
various approaches to scientific inquiry, such as induction and
deduction, as well as a presentation of logical fallacies that are barriers
of critical thinking.
Thise lecture aims to teach students to ask the right questions when
confronted with their peers' ideas and opinions as well as to properly
defend their own. They will also learn to point out and avoid vagueness,
ambiguities, lack of evidence, weaknesses in argumentation,
contradictions, and omissions in both written and oral communications.

科学・技術者の研究成果の社会への移転と言うプロセスの一環として、
国や公共団体での審議会委員や、著作・ジャーナリズム関連での「啓
蒙」活動に係る人材を供給するのも本学の責務の一部である。しかしな
がら、これらの活動には当然の事ながら配慮すべき点も多数ある。審議
会委員経験者等の教員による事例紹介を基に、研究と社会貢献及び公
平性／利益相反の問題を議論する。
