Univ.-Prof. Dr. Bodo Ziegler Leiter des Instituts Einladung zum Sonderseminar über R-process enrichment in the solar system, the Milky Way, and local dwarf galaxies I'll discuss r-process enrichment in the three different astrophysical sites: our solar system, the Milky Way, and nearby dwarf galaxies. Combining the observed features obtained by different methods and their interpretations from the three sites, we can supplement each other, crosscheck the individual results, and finally get a conclusive view on r-process. My main conclusions are (i) from nearby dwarf galaxies, we know that a neutron star merger is the major origin of r-nuclides but it seems that a neutron star merger is not the only site, in particular in the early Universe, (ii) the history of r-process enrichment in the solar system traced by the short-lived radioactive nuclei 244Pu, which is assessed by meteorites and deep sea measurements, gives a view on r-process consistent with the ones from stellar abundances in Local Group including the Milky Way. von Prof. Dr. Takuji Tsujimoto (NAOJ, Mitaka, Tokyo) Montag, 12.
