概要：The challenges in biomaterials screening and evaluation in vitro will be discussed.
Several cases like metals, ceramics, hydrogels, polymers for different applciations will be
briefly presented and possibilities in new high-output screening will be shown. Newcoming
changes in European reducation for medical devices will be presented and their implication
for biomaterials R&D will be addressed.
