niroflex - unsere Geschichte
niroflex - our story
Unsere Geschichte beginnt im Jahr 1920. Friedrich Münch
gründet im schwäbischen Mühlacker ein Unternehmen, das
sich auf die Herstellung von nicht geschweißten Ringgeflechten und Schuppengeflechten für Börsen, Handtaschen
und Accessoires spezialisiert. Von Anfang an bestimmt der
Innovationswille des Firmengründers die Geschicke.
Our history begins in 1920. In his German hometown of
Mühlacker, Friedrich Münch founded a company which
specialized in the production of unwelded chainmail and
scale mesh for purses, handbags and accessories. From the
outset the innovative will of the company’s founder determined the company’s fate.
Entwicklung und Fortschritt charakterisieren den Weg des
Unternehmens in der Mitte des 20ten Jahrhunderts und
bestimmen seine Geschicke bis zum heutigen Tag. 1968
wird der erste Sicherheitshandschuh aus geschweißtem Ringgeflecht vorgestellt. Heute - in der 3ten Generation ununterbrochen unter der Führung der Familie Münch - ist die
Friedrich Münch GmbH + Co KG weltweit aktiv und mit
ihrer Marke niroflex ein Synonym für hochinnovative
Produkte und Lösungen sowie eine unerreichte Qualität.
The mid-20th century was a period of development and
progress for the company, charting the course to what the
company is today. In 1968 the company presented the first
safety glove made from welded ring mesh. Today, under
the care and watch of the 2nd and 3rd generations of the
Münch family, Friedrich Münch GmbH + Co KG is active
with business all over the world. The brand niroflex is
synonymous with highly innovative products and solutions
and unsurpassed quality.

Detectable Chainmail
Mit dem Namenszusatz „detect“ kennzeichnet niroflex diejenigen Stechschutzhandschuhe und -schürzen, die aufgrund
ihrer Materialbeschaffenheit magnetisch sind. Ihr Vorteil: im
Falle einer Beschädigung im Produktionsbereich lassen sich
eventuell verloren gegangene Einzelringe einfach mit einem
gängigen Metalldetektor auffinden. In einer magnetisch
detektierbaren Version sind die Produktlinien niroflex easyfit
und niroflex 2000 erhältlich.

gloves and aprons have the advantage that in the case of
damage within the production area, individual rings can

Für unsere Kunden suchen wir immer nach optimalen Lösungen. Dies führte auch zur Entwicklung von x-lite, einem verbesserten Ringgeflecht. Bei gleichen Funktionseigenschaften
ist x-lite mehr als 30 % leichter als vergleichbare Ringgeflechte. Dies macht x-lite insbesondere für unsere Schürzen und
Boleros zu einem idealen Werkstoff. Denn weniger Gewicht
bedeutet höherer Tragekomfort und weniger körperliche
Belastung im langen Arbeitsalltag.
While seeking for optimized solutions for our customers,
we developed x-lite, an improved chainmail. Compared to
other chainmail, x-lite is more than 30% lighter without any
reduced performance or safety. This is why x-lite is an ideal
material for our aprons and boleros. Less weight translates
into a more comfortable, ergonomically-beneficial garment
and a reduction in the physical load on the workers over the
course of a long working day.
