WINTER YOUTH BASKETBALL LEAGUE
The “Everybody Plays” attitude is a priority for OCCC youth basketball league.
Teams will play 8 regular season games on Saturdays starting January 10, 2015. Depending on the amount of
teams in a division some teams may be scheduled to play double headers. Teams are awarded one team trophy
according to their regular season overall record for 1st and 2nd place. Divisions with 7 or more teams will receive
3rd place team trophies.
Practices are held throughout the week on Mondays, Tuesdays - Thursdays, Fridays at OCCC for registered
teams. Teams are guaranteed no more than 1 practice per week.
Division A:
Competitive level organizations, travel team
level, division 1 tournament level teams.
Division B:
First year teams, individual players, nontournament teams, 1 year or less
playing experience.
WYBL Registration
Individual Fee: $55, includes OCCC reversible game jersey,
copy of birth certificate required.

Mail-In Registration Deadline: December 3, 2014 (mail-in
registration dated after deadline date will not be accepted).
Coaches/Parent Meeting:

Game days:
Saturdays starting 9:00am each team will play
8 games.
In-Person: Recreation & Fitness office – Mon/Fri – 9am to
5pm, Wellness Center desk – 5pm to 9pm

OCCC Recreation & Fitness youth sports leagues are recreational and teams are built randomly to provide even
competition. Please consider volunteering your time as a coach to support your son or daughter. Any team without
