Gorizia Castle, dating back to the 11th century,
is a fortification built on the hill that dominates
the city. In the 17th century it was used as a
prison and barracks. In the 18c it was
expanded with bastions, powder kegs and walls.

risale all’XI secolo, costruita sul colle che
domina la città. Usato come carcere e
caserma nel Seicento, nel XVIII secolo fu
ampliato con bastioni, polveriere e torrioni.
