A good UNIcert  course involves setting goals for
learners and reaching these goals using task-based
activities in your lessons. But what if you’ve developed a successful concept for your UNIcert  course
and are still not entirely happy with it.
Maybe you’ve tried out some great task-based ideas,
but the students don’t seem to be engaged or motivated. Perhaps what you need to do is add an element of fun to your course.
The goal of this workshop is to share ideas that make
our UNIcert  courses more enjoyable and motivating
for students and to develop fun tasks for your own
classroom.
The workshop will be divided into three parts:
Step 1: Share ideas
Step 2: (main part of workshop)
Create enjoyable task(s) for your own course(s)
Step 3: Short presentation of the tasks you created
and feedback

Participants:

Instructors teaching UNIcert I-III level English courses (general academic English and/or English for Specific Purposes) Instructors teaching other languages
are also welcome.
Preparation:
Reflect on the courses you are teaching or have
taught. Which tasks/exercises are you dissatisfied
with?
Do you have materials (audios, videos, articles, etc.)
that you’d like to incorporate into your course, but you’re not sure how? Bring them with you.
Do you have task-based activities that your classes
enjoy?
This could be a fun way to start a topic, a reward after
working hard, a game, a fun variation of a typical foreign language activity, etc.
Please bring these ideas to share with everyone at
the workshop as well.
