Summary of duties:
Performs a broad range of standard receiving assignments. Unloads trucks or obtains produce, groceries and
household supplies in bulk from storage areas, checks them for quantity and quality. Replenishes shelf stock and
maintains surveillance over an assigned section ensuring that items are merchandised according to the existing set
as marked by the item identification labels. Trims and sorts vegetables and fruits for retail sales; weighs, sacks or
wraps items, and marks prices on items by referral to price lists. Monitors “best when sold by” dates and ensures
that “first in-first out” rotation procedures are followed. Receipts inspection of all material to ensure the quality is the
highest available. Counts while receiving product to maintain accountability. Cleans and sanitary conditions are
always maintained on the shelves and in products storage areas. Building and replenishment of merchandise in the
display areas of the sales floor to ensure a bright, colorful and attractive department is maintained. Identifies need
for and accomplishes stock replenishment orders from the distribution center. Performs materials handling duties
including the use of tools such as pallet jack and electronic pallet moves and forklift equipment to unload and moves
merchandise from the truck or van in a safe manner, utilizing safety practices and procedures. Performs other
related or incidental duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Qualification requirements emphasis is on the quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. Although a
specific length of time and experience is not required, you must show through experience and training that you
possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which
you are applying. Although a specific length of training and/or experience is not required, applicants must have
sufficient training and experience, paid or unpaid, of sufficient scope and quality that fully provides the ability to
perform the full range of duties of the position.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of
knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Must have a valid GOJ forklift operator’s license - more than one ton (フォークリフト運転技能講習終了証-1t 以
上) and be able to obtain a GOV forklift license.
2. Ability to speak, read, write and understand English. No Language Proficiency requirement – LPL: 0 is required;

Job Related Requirements:
1. Must be in a good physical condition.

5. May work outside of normal duty hours if requested.

Summary of duties:
Operates automobile motor vehicles such as sedan, pick up track and/or SUV to patrol installation perimeter,
flightline, office buildings, industrial facilities, arms storage rooms, radio stations, and other areas to prevent
unauthorized entry, theft or damage to government property. Controls the movement of persons by checking
identification credentials, including controlled areas. Detains and apprehends unauthorized individuals, using force if
necessary, and promptly notifies supervisor and/or Security Forces. Responds to violation and duress alarms and
emergency situations as directed. Conducts vehicle searches in accordance with prescribed directives. Reports
safety hazards and unsafe working conditions to supervisor. Controls personnel access by monitoring the
identification of individuals entering installation facilities, and controlled areas. Performs duties as Security Forces
Desk Sergeant in accordance with directives. Receives reports of all incidents, accidents, violations, disorders and
other unusual events. Assists in handling routine matters, acting as an interpreter between military personnel and
Japanese personnel. Performs other related or incidental duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements:
1. High school graduate or equivalent.
2. Six months of specialized experience in the same line of work OR 1 year of work experience in the related field.
3. Ability to speak/read/write English at elementary proficiency level. (LPL: 1)
4. Must possess a GOJ driver’s license (Manual transmission) (自動車運転免許-マニュアル車) and able to
obtain/maintain a military driver’s license.
5. No record of conviction for civilian offense other than minor traffic violations.
Job Related Requirements:
1. Must be physically and mentally capable of maintaining a high standard of duty performance.
2. Duties involve completion of appropriate training in use of certain firearms as required, and carrying of such arms
while assigned to duty station authorized by the respective authorities.
3. Must be able to work weekends, holidays, any shifts (days/nights) and may require overtime.
Work Schedule: Mon-Sun (40 hours per week)
 Standard Hours: 0600-1500, 1400-2300, 2200-0700
 Only during special circumstances: 0600-1800,1800-0600 (including 1 hour recess time)

Performs regular preventive maintenance inspection and repair of buildings and structures, requiring knowledge of

applies coating materials. Checks operation and performs preventive inspections to small parts and sections of
existing systems, such as water heaters, disposal units, and faucets. Mixes, thins, blends, matches, tints, and tones

Basic Qualifications:

Summary of duties:
Serves as a Purchasing and Contract Specialist for the contracting squadron. Works under the guidance and
supervision of the Flight and/or Team Chief. Customers include United States Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corps
and Defense agencies located throughout Okinawa, Japan. Procurements usually involve a variety of complexities,
difficult to define scopes of work, complex legal conditions and environmental regulations, Status of Forces
Agreement (SOFA) and rigid deadlines causing additional complications. Works under the general supervision of
the Flight and/or Team Chief assigns work in the general terms of overall operation and maintenance (O&M)
programs to be provided contract support. Participates and/or leads applicable squadron/flight/team training.
Performs other related or incidental duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements:
1. 1 year of specialized experience in work related to the position to be filled at the next lower level OR Masters
Degree in related fields.
2. Must have Bachelor’s Degree in any field OR at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following
fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing,
quantitative methods, or organization and management.
3. Ability to speak, read and write English at fluent proficiency level; LPL-3 is required.
4. Must possess full working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FAR supplements, DoD
regulations, and Financial Management regulations.
5. Must possess journeyman working knowledge of both Simplified Acquisition Procedures and large complex
contracts.
6. Must have good people skills to mentor and train subordinates.
7. Must be able to prepare, evaluate and negotiate the complex proposals (RFPs), and award the contracts IAW
FAR, FAR supplements, and other pertinent regulations.
8. Must have the skills to use the Standard Procurement System and Microsoft applications.
Job Related Requirements:
1. Must be able to complete all required Acquisition Professional Development Program II (APDP II) courses within
24 months after entrance on duty, based on course availability.
2. Must acquire 80 Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) every two years as per DoD Instruction 5000.66.
3. Must be able to obtain Contracting Officer’s Warrant as assigned by leadership.
4. Must obtain/possess/maintain a sound working knowledge of Procurement Desktop-Defense (PD2) contract
management program.
5. May be required to work occasional overtime, especially at the end of the fiscal year.
6. May be required to travel TDY.

Assists supervisor in the day-to-day operation and management in providing a variety of logistics and preventive
maintenance functions on equipment and tools. Assists management in administrative control over a team of small
engine mechanics, a preventative maintenance worker, a refrigeration mechanic and a vehicle operator on
performing their daily tasks. Identifies the needs and areas of improvement for the continuous improvement/
optimization of the preventive maintenance processes, with a focus on a preventive maintenance structure and down
time minimization. Evaluates effectiveness of programs, and makes recommendations to the supervisor of policy
and procedural changes to effect continual improvements. Assesses needs and assists the supervisor in managing
logistics maintenance resources programs. Provides inputs and recommendations to the annual non-appropriated
fund (NAF) logistics maintenance budgets of equipment, supplies and expenditures for projected resource
requirements to support daily and long-term goals and objectives of programs. Assists the supervisor in developing
administrative safeguards to protect funds, equipment, and resources. Prepares documents and a statement of
work for vendor contracts for Okuma Fest and any other special events. Attends meetings of interested groups
soliciting ideas for current and future programs. Assists the manager in providing a safe and healthy environment for
staff and customers. Conducts regular safety, fire, health, and other required inspections to ensure a safe, healthy
