Committee presents an art exhibition "Our Art
Working 2016: Close up of Japan in Chicago." The
exhibition focuses on works of contemporary artists
in cooperation with Uptown Arts Center and the
Hokkaido Cultural Foundation. Participating artists

毎年夏の恒例、中西部仏教会主催のギンザ・ホリデー
が今年も行われる。毎回好評のテリヤキ・チキンや太
鼓のパフォーマンス、武芸のデモンストレーション、
盆踊りなど様々なイベントが企画されている。詳しい

画面の輝度が変えられなくなったり、無線の ON/OFF が出来なかっ
たりしている。
●クラウドストレージ (OneDrive 等 ) に、OS 上からアクセスでき
るのは今後主流になって行くかも知れないが、企業の大事なデー
タを Microsoft のクラウドに入れるかと言えば・・・微妙である。
●ビジネス向けの一部専用ソフトが動かないという報告が多数で
ている。
●日本では銀行のサイトで新ブラウザの Edge が動かないとの問
題も報告されている。
● 3D ゲームなども動かないものがあるようだ。
●自動アップグレード中に、Windows 10 に対応していないソフト
が勝手に消されたという報告がある。
●アップグレードして上手く動かないので戻そうとしたら戻らな
かったりというトラブルも報告されている。
● USB フロッピードライブに対応していない。

●無償アップグレード可能を謳い文句にしているが、Windows 7 の古
い PC などはアップグレード出来ない場合がある。
●マイクロソフトは既に殆どの Windows 8 のユーザーのＰＣのタスク
バーに無料 Windows 10 アップグレードの白い四角のアイコンを埋め
込んでおり、
通常の Windows 8 のアップデートでも、
インストール
“アッ
プデート”をクリックすると自動的に Windows 10 への“アップグレー
ド“が始まってしまう。これはまだ Win10 に“アップグレード”した
くないユーザーには大迷惑である。特に、QuickBooks の機能の一部で
も使えなくなったら大変な事になる。
●特に、ビデオ関係で、インテルの古いオンボードビデオ出力はまず
対応していないので、安易にアップグレードをすると大変な事になる。
安ノートに使われていた ATOM 系のビデオもダメなようである。
●一応、Windows 10 にアップグレードしても 1 ヶ月間は元の OS に戻
せるようになっているが、東京ではかなり失敗の報告も出ている。
●特にノート PC などでは、専用のユーティリティが入っているが、
これが作動しないケースがある。たとえばファンクションキー等での
