DEINE AUFGABEN
Du führst ein eingespieltes Team mit acht Mitarbeitern (Projektmanagement, Frontend, Backend, Daten
Management) und stellst als erfahrene Führungskraft dessen fachliche und organisatorische
Weiterentwicklung sicher
Du verantwortest das gesamte IT-Budget und führst eine Reihe von externen Dienstleistern (Shopsystem,
Mobile App,
Bestell-Software,
Produktionssteuerungs-software,
Testing,
Hosting,
interne IT-
Administration)
Du priorisierst die Projektpipeline und überwachst die effiziente und kosten- und zeitgerechte
Umsetzung
Du koordinierst die optimale Verteilung der Aktivitäten und des Budgets auf unsere diversen Shops und
verschiedenen Länder und bist damit eine wichtige Stütze unserer internationalen Ausrichtung und
Multi-Shop-Strategie
In enger Zusammenarbeit mit der Geschäftsleitung entwickelst Du eine zeitgemäße auf Innovation,
Internationalisierung und unsere Business-Ziele ausgerichtete IT-Strategie und stellst deren Umsetzung
sicher
Du hast stets den Überblick über neue Trends und Technologien betreibst aktives Benchmarking mit der
eCommerce-Branche und unserer Konkurrenz
Du sprichst auf Augenhöhe mit den CTOs / IT-Leitern unserer Kooperationspartner
DAS ERWARTEN WIR VON DIR
Du bist leidenschaftlicher Programmierer und hast mindestens 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der
Entwicklung von kommerziellen Web-Portalen auf Basis von SQL, JavaScript, CSS, XHTML etc.,
idealerweise einem mehrsprachigen Umfeld
Ein Studium im Bereich Informatik oder Wirtschaftsinformatik ist vorteilhaft, aber nicht Voraussetzung
Du kannst Erfolge in der effizienten Leitung von Web- und Softwareentwicklungs-Projekten nachweisen
und hast dabei als Führungskraft Deine Mitarbeiter erfolgreich gemacht
Du bist up to date mit allen relevanten Technologien und Trends (Mobile etc.) und kannst Machbarkeit,
Ressourcenaufwand und Dauer von Projekten einschätzen
Du denkst in ‚Business Cases‘ und Dein unternehmerisches Denken und Handeln ermöglicht es Dir, die
Projekte und Tasks immer wieder klar zu priorisieren
Du bist ein kommunikationsstarker Teamplayer mit verbindlichem Auftreten, großer Einsatzbereitschaft
und hoher Flexibilität
Du bist belastbar, Hands-on, fokussiert und strukturiert, Du bist es gewohnt, in flachen Hierarchien
selbstverantwortlich zu arbeiten
Du bist geübt in der Führung und Kontrolle externer Dienstleistern sowie diesbezüglichen

HEAD OF IT / CTO (m/f)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As a seasoned manager, lead a team of eight employees (project management, front-end, back-end, data
management) and ensure professional and organizational development
Responsible for the entire IT budget and lead a number of external service providers (shop system,
mobile app, ordering software, production control software, testing, hosting, internal IT administration)
Manage and prioritize projects in the pipeline and monitor implementation in an efficient, cost-effective
and timely manner
Coordinate the optimal distribution of tasks and budget required across multiple shops and various
countries and are thus an important pillar of our internationalization and multi-shop strategy
Work closely with management to develop and implement a modern IT strategy oriented towards
innovation, internationalization and business goals
Keep abreast of new trends and technology and to actively ensure we keep pace or surpass the
benchmark across the e-commerce industry and our competitors
Liaise with partner CTOs / CIOs at an equal standing
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
You are a passionate programmer with at least 5 years of professional experience in the development of
commercial web portals based on SQL, JavaScript, CSS, XHTML etc., ideally in a multilingual environment
A degree in computer science or commercial informatics is advantageous but not a prerequisite
Demonstrate success in the efficient management of web and software development projects and
management of your team
Must be up-to-date with relevant technologies and trends (mobile etc.) and can assess the feasibility,
resource and time requirements of projects
You think in terms of ‘business cases' with your entrepreneurial thinking and acting allowing you to
always clearly prioritise projects and tasks
You are a highly flexible, ready-to-act, strong and communicative team-player that can lead a team
You are resilient, hands-on, focused and well-organised. You are accustomed to workly independently in
a flat hierarchy
You are experienced in the management of external service providers as well as in contract negotiations
