ご挨拶/ Greetings
校友の皆さん、こんにちは。Hello all alumni,
APU校友会代表の吉田聖崇です。My name is Seitaka Yoshida – the
representative of APU Alumni Association.
この資料では、校友の皆さんが校友会に参加することで得られるメリットをまとめ
ました。
In this material we have summed up all the merits of your joining
Alumni Association.
APU校友会は以下の２つをビジョンとして掲げています。
The two points below are the visions of APU Alumni Association
・Global family
・自己実現 Self- Accomplishment
これらを達成するために様々な制度を用意し、
イベントを行っております。As to achieve these visions we are
conducting events as well as introducing systems.

We hope you will join Alumni Association and through it become able
to achieve self-accomplishments in such a special network like APU.

エグゼクティブサマリ/ Executive Summary
・APU校友会を活用する方法とそのメリットについて説明します。
We would like to explain how to utilize the association as well as the merits.
APUを卒業された皆さんはAPU校友会の正会員です。
APU校友会を活用することで、皆さんには様々なメリットがあります。
All of you who graduated from APU are APU Alumni Association Full members.
By utilizing APU Alumni Association, you will receive plenty of advantages.
・校友同士の新たなネットワークの構築ができます。
You will have a new network with other alumni.
・本業（ビジネス）ではできない、自己実現ができます。
You can attain self-accomplishment- what you cannot do in your main business.
これらの手段として下記３つがあります。There are 3 ways to enable these
advantages:
・チャプターの活動に参加する By joining activities held by Chapter.
・Alumni Groupを設立する、参加する By establishing and joining Alumni Group.
・プロジェクトを設立する、参加する By establishing and joining Projects.
また、スタッフとして活動される皆さんには、金銭や人的なサポートも受けられます。
Also, for those who join as staff, you will be receiving financial
support and help in the aspect of human resources.

In Chapter, we are conducting a lot of activities for composing a new net
work and for your self-accomplishment.

【チャプターへの関わり方は２通りあります。
As you can see there are two ways to be involved in Chapters.
①チャプターの活動を企画するスタッフになる。
Becoming a planning staff for Chapter’s activities.
→チャプターメンバーのために、企画・実行をするボランティアです。
It is to volunteer making and implementing projects for Chapter members.
②チャプターのイベントに参加する。
Participating in Chapter’s events.
→興味関心に合わせて、参加者として参加します。
Feel free to join any event you’re interested in.
補足：Supplement
APU校友会は世界中に26のチャプターがあります。（2014年10月1日現在）
APU Alumni Association has 26 Chapters all over the world (As of 2014 Oct1st)
国・地域の特性を生かした様々な活動が開催されています。
We have been holding many activities in which highlight nations and regions’ characteristics.

Merit: Being successful in building Business Network at
Convivial Party
■実際にあったエピソード例 A real episode
東京に住んでいる日本人のAさん。Mr. A -a Japanese who lives in Tokyo
インターネットビジネスで起業したいと考えており、同志を探していました。
He was thinking of opening an online business so he was searching for partners.
そんな時たまたま参加した、東京チャプターのイベント。
And at that time he happened to come to an event of Tokyo Chapter.
Aさんはインド出身のBさんと初めて知り合いになります。
There he met Mr. B from India.
Bさんはインド出身で日系企業でエンジニアをしており、
いまの職場環境には満足していましたが、Aさんのビジョンに共感。
Mr. B was an engineer working for a Japanese company, he was satisfied with his
job but at the same time have interest in Mr. A’s vision.
APUという共通のバックグランドを持つAさんとBさんが信頼しあうのには
そう時間はかかりませんでした。
Sharing the same education background as APU helps Mr. A and Mr. B trust each
other more quickly.
彼らは共同でインターネットビジネスの会社を設立することになりました。
現在は、お互いの目標に向けて頑張っています。
They became business partners and together established an online company.
Currently they are trying their best to achieve their goals.

チャプターでは社会貢献活動も行っており、皆さんも
企画や参加ができます。

活動例：大分・福岡チャプター Ex: Oita・Fukuoka
Chapter
チャプターの活動では、ビーチバレーなど懇親を目的
としたイベントも開催されています。
また、チャプターが合同で企画するイベントも開催さ
れます。
For Chapter’s activities, we have been holding
events such as Beach Volleyball etc.
Also, Chapter Oita and Fukuoka are collaborating
to hold many events.
別府市餅が浜で、大分・福岡チャプター合同のビーチバレー大
会が開催されました。
We have held a Beach Volleyball match between Oita and
Fukuoka chapters in Mochigahama, Beppu City.
2004年卒～2010年卒の校友や、校友の友人の参加もあり30名
を超える校友が集いました。
More than 30 alumni who graduated from 2004 to 2010 have
gathered and participated.
また、終了後にはビーチ清掃も行い地域貢献も出来たイベントを
開催する事が出来ました。
After the match everybody cleaned the beach and had some
meaningful volunteer activities as well.

活動例：就職活動イベント Ex: Event for Job Hunting
■メンバー：日本国内6チャプター（関東・関西・中部・中四国・福岡・大分）
Member: 6 domestic Chapters (Kanto・Kansai・Chubu・Chushikoku・Fukuoka・Oita)
■活動場所：日本各地
Place
: All over Japan
■活動目的：APUの現役学生の就職活動をサポート
Purpose : To support current APU students with their job hunting.
■活動内容：
・APU卒業生が就活体験や会社の実情について忌憚なく学生と語り合う。
・Skypeを用いて、日本各地の卒業生と学生を結ぶ
（e.g.大分の学生が、関東で働く先輩とSkypeで話すことができる）
Content:
・APU alumni will share their job hunting experiences and business life.
・Creating bonds between alumni all over Japan and current students via Skype.
(e.g. a student in Oita can use Skype to talk to a senior working in Tokyo.

チャプターの活動との違い How Alumni Group is different from Chapter.
・特定のことに対して、興味を持った校友のみが集う組織が、Alumni Groupです。
（チャプターの活動は、校友の“様々”な興味・関心に応える活動を行います）
Alumni Group is where people who share the same interest in a particular topic gather and work as a group.
(Chapter on the other hand conducts activities that cover a lot of interests)

■活動目的：起業に関心を持つ校友が集い、起業に関する知識交換・意見交換を行います。
Purpose : Alumni who are interested in starting a business can assemble and
share their knowledge and ideas about how to start a business.
■活動内容：
・起業をした校友から体験談を聞く。
・自分のビジネスアイデアに対して意見をもらう。
・新たなビジネスパートナーを見つける。
Content :
・Listen to stories from alumni who already started their business.
・Receive opinions for your own business ideas.
・Find a new business partner.

your old high schools

Member : Group of affiliated schools ( consisted of alumni from affiliated
schools)
■活動場所：立命館学園の附属高校
Place : Ritsumeikan Academy’s affiliated high school.
■活動目的：進路選択を目前にした後輩（高校生）及び保護者にAPUの紹介を行い、
APUへ進学した際のイメージを持ってもらう
Purpose : Introduce APU to parents as well as high school students who are
about to make an important decision for their future path. Provide them the vision
of their own selves if they enroll APU.

・冊子の配布
 APUの現役学生及び卒業生にインタビューを行い、キャンパスライフの生の声を聞く。
 その内容もとに冊子を作成。母校へ配付する。
 予定）卒業生と高校生の交流会の実施
 Content :
・Distribute booklets
 Conduct interviews with both alumni and current students.
 Create booklet based on the content of the interviews. Send it to high schools.
 (Plan) Hold an assembly between alumni and high school students.

活動例：ドリームズクラブ Ex: Dreams Club

■活動場所：東京、大阪
Place : Tokyo, Osaka
■活動目的：児童養護施設の子供達に“世界や社会のこと”を知ってもらう。
Purpose : Let the children from orphanage know about “world and society”.
■活動内容：
・海外のイベントを実施（ハロウィン、中国の旧正月、イースターエッグなど）
・英語の絵本を読む
・お仕事紹介（シティーバンカーによるお金の話、CAについてなど）
・海外のゲーム（世界のジャンケン紹介、インドネシアのスプーンリレーなど）
Content :
・Carry out overseas events (Halloween, Lunar New Year, Easter Eggs etc. )
・Read English picture books.
・Introduce jobs ( story about money by City Bank Officer, CA etc.)
・Overseas games ( introducing “Rock-Scissors-Paper” versions all over the world,
Indonesia’s Spoon Relay etc.)

■活動場所：立命館アジア太平洋大学
Place : Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University
■活動目的：APUの現役学生の大学院進学をサポート
Purpose : To support APU students who intent to enroll in grad-schools.
■活動内容：
・大学院への進学を目指しているAPUの学生を対象に、
試験の準備／大学院の生活について等の情報を提供する。
・ Face to faceので、進学／就職についての悩みを相談する。
Content:
・Provide information regarding exam preparation or life in grad-schools for APU
students.
・Consult in person about proceeding to grad-schools as well as obtaining a job.

■活動場所：原宿（東京）

■活動の成果：
①音楽を通して、旧友との再会はもちろん、卒業年度を超えた新たな繋がりが構築できた。
②日頃の練習の成果を披露する場ができたことで、ライクワークの充実（自己実現）に繋
がった。
Activity’s result :
①Through music, new bonds were created, along with reunion among old friends.
②Self-accomplishment was achieved, since from this event alumni will have a new
place for them to show others what they got after days and days of practice.

＊なお、利用には一定の条件がある為、ご利用頂けない場合があります。
Since there are some certain conditions for the activation of these rights,
there are cases these rights can not be applied if the conditions are not
fulfilled.

１．登録手順
登録申請用紙に必要事項を記載して、APU校友会事務局まで届け出てください。また、現時点で判明しているメンバーがいる
場合は、メンバーリストに必要事項を記載して提出してください。
２．校友会から提供するサポート
団体登録した場合は、校友会から以下のサポートが受けられます。
（１）校友会ホームページ・メルマガなどを通じてメンバー募集や活動告知などの案内の実施
（２）対象となる校友情報の提供
＊提供するデータは、氏名、転送先Emailアドレス、電話番号に限ります。
＊データ提供に関しては、校友情報取得同意書の提出後、ボードチームで審査を行い許可された場合のみ提供します。
（３）立命館学園の施設利用（ご利用の際は、事務局までお問い合わせください。）
（４）イベント開催時のグッズ提供（年1回）
３．注意事項
（１）グループの運営・管理は、各グループで責任を持って行ってください。
（２）メンバーリストの提供をお願いする場合があります。

Reference: More details about the procedure to establish Alumni Group (taken from
HP)
1. Sign up process
Fill in essential information into the sign up application then send to APU Alumni Association Secretariat. If
before submission your members are already fixed then please also fill in the Member List necessary
information then submit together with the sign up sheet.
２．Supports brought by Alumni Association
If you sign up as a group, you will receive the supports from Alumni Association (written below)
（１）Carrying out member recruitment and activity promotion via Home Page or Mail magazine.
（２）Becoming recipient of information about alumni
＊The data you can receive are limited to Name, Forwarding email address and phone number.
＊Regarding providing information, after you submit your consent for the attainment of alumni
information, Board Team will consider and only when you receive approval from Board Team that you will
be able to receive information.
（３）Please contact Secretariat when you want to use some facilities of Ritsumeikan Academy.
（４）Providing goods for holding events (Annual)
