自転車保険通知

留学生の皆さん
大阪府自転車条例により、2016 年 7 月 1 日から自転車保険の加入が義務化
されることになりました。
これは、自転車利用者が自転車事故により損害賠償責任を負った場合の経済
的負担の軽減と、被害者の保護を図るためのものです。
2013 年の男子小学生が自転車で歩行中の女性と衝突して重傷を負わせた事
故では、神戸地裁が母親に 9,500 万円の賠償命令をした事例もあります。
日常生活や通学で自転車を利用される方は、自転車保険に必ず加入する必要
がありますので、早急に加入手続きを行ってください。
なお、以下に該当する方はすでに自転車損害賠償保険の加入者となりますの
で、改めて自転車保険に加入する必要はありません。
①学研災付帯学生生活総合保険（付帯学総）に加入している
②大学生協の学生賠償責任保険に加入している
③自動車保険（個人賠償責任補償特約が付帯している場合に限る）に加入し
ている
④火災保険（個人賠償責任補償特約が付帯している場合に限る）に加入して
いる
⑤本国で海外留学保険（個人賠償責任補償特約が付帯している場合に限る）
に加入している

To All International Students
Osaka Prefecture passed an ordinance requiring all bicycle owners to have bicycle
insurance, which comes into effect on July 1, 2016.
These regulations were established to reduce the economic burden of bicycle users
involved in accidents and to protect the victims of accidents caused by bicyclists.
In 2013, the Kobe District Court ordered a mother to pay 95 million yen in damages
after her son struck and seriously injured an elderly pedestrian.
Those who come to school by bicycle, or otherwise use a bicycle outside of school
grounds, it is necessary to enroll in bicycle insurance. Please purchase an insurance
plan at your earliest convenience.
For those who have already purchased any of the insurance plans listed below are not
required to enroll in bicycle insurance.
1. Expansive Insurance for General Student Life (Futaigakuso)
2. Personal Liability Insurance for Students (Gakubai) through the COOP Insurance
Program
3. Automobile Insurance (limited to only when the Personal Liability Clause is added)
4. Fire Insurance (limited to only when the Personal Liability Clause is added)
5. Study Abroad Insurance (limited to only when the Personal Liability Clause is
added)
